Stop Wasting Scraps (and a Sneak Peek You’ll Love)

Hi Reader,

Well, here in the Shenandoah Valley we're getting ready for Snow-mageddon. Forecasters are predicting anywhere from 1 to 2500 inches of snow (LOL)! For Virginians that means heading to the store for milk, bread, and toilet paper. Seriously - it's quite the phenomenon.

I don't know about you, but as long as I have a few good books on my Kindle and plenty of craft supplies, I'm ready for the storm. How about you - is your area going to get some wintery weather this weekend?

In other exciting news, Stampin’ Up! just unveiled its newest tool — the Stampin’ Positioner. Ever since the Stamparatus was discontinued, demonstrators have been asking for a reliable way to get precise, consistent stamping results… and this tool delivers.

The Stampin’ Positioner is designed to help you line up images perfectly, create repeating patterns with ease, and tackle Two-Step Stampin’ with confidence — especially if you love crisp placement and polished results.

As a demonstrator, I was able to pre-order one to take it for a test drive, and mine is scheduled to arrive today. If all goes as planned, I’m hoping to hop on a Facebook Live tonight and show you exactly how it works in real time.

The Stampin’ Positioner will be available exclusively as part of Stampin’ Up!’s February Join Promotion beginning February 3rd. If you’ve ever been curious about what it’s like to be a demonstrator — or want early access to tools like this — just hit reply with your questions. I’m always happy to chat and share the details.

Hi Reader, Is anyone else as confused as I am as to what day it is? Having a holiday on a Thursday is just weird—it felt like a Saturday or Sunday. I actually had to stop and say, “Oh wait… it’s only Friday—I’m not behind on my to-do list!” Anyway, now that we’ve officially welcomed 2026 and are packing away the decorations until next December, it’s time to focus on something that never goes out of style… crafting New Releases Drop Tuesday – January 6th! The January–April 2026 Mini Catalog...

Hi Reader, Is it just me, or did December slam its foot on the accelerator when we weren’t looking? Christmas is less than a week away, and I’m sitting here feeling reasonably accomplished. About 99% of the cards are mailed, the gifts I physically have are wrapped, the cookies are baked, and I’m just waiting for a few stragglers to show up on my porch. So no, I’m not in panic mode… yet. But I’m also not naïve enough to pretend something won’t go off the rails between now and Christmas...

Hi Reader, Happy Friday — can you believe Christmas is less than two weeks away? I thought I was doing pretty well, but after checking my list, I’ve still got plenty left to do… including getting the rest of my cards in the mail. How about you? Hit reply and let me know where you’re at with your holiday prep. Tonight is my annual Fun Folds Craft Along Party. It’s my way of saying thank you for your support all year long. Many of you registered, so I’ll see you at 7 PM Eastern — ugly Christmas...
